The Stewards Foundation, Inc will host the Third Annual Tampa Mayor’s Cup Rowing Regatta at Tampa's, Harney Park Bypass Canal Racecourse on Saturday March 20, 2010. The Tampa Mayor’s Cup is one of the premiere rowing events in the state of Florida and Southeastern United States. Many of the competitors are from the Northeast testing their skills after completing spring training in the Tampa Bay area.

The racecourse hosts a 1000, 1500 & 1850 meter-buoyed course. Over 750 rowing athletes and well over 2000- spectators and coaches will be on hand to participate in this event. The completion includes separate events for Masters, Colleges and juniors; there will be on site parking at the Harney Park. In addition, racecourse bleachers and vendors will set up for spectators and teams alike.

Time and Duration: 8:30 AM to approximately 4:30 PM

Competition Categories: University Division, High School Division, Masters Division

Spectator Areas: Spectators will be able to view the heats from the Harney Canal Park

Conduct for Competing: Licensed Officials from US Rowing

Operation Management: Organized by The Stewards Foundation, Inc and supported by a volunteer committee from the community with operation support from Southern Command at MacDill AFB, Tampa
