Facilities
The current Boat House supported by The Steward's Foundation is located in Julian Lane River Front Park. The boathouse consists of four (4) 20’*70’ bays which house 
over 150 racing shells, canoes, and kayaks. This convenient location provides easy access to the Hillsborough River.
Future Plans
With the temporary boat house construction completed there are plans for the future to implement two additional phases of construction.
PHASE TWO
Construction of a separate 5000 square foot recreational facility located within the park. The City of Tampa’s Parks and Recreation Department will administer the program as well as provide extensive innovative programming for neighborhood youngsters.
PHASE THREE
Water Sports facility providing Boat storage on the first level and housing accommodations for visiting students on the second level. This dormitory type facility will be alcohol and smoke free. A separate apartment will be provided for the resident manager whose presence will insure added security to the park. The Balcony overlooking The Hillsborough River will stretch the entire length of the building. It will be a great relaxation place for students. The panoramic views of downtown Tampa and the waterfront will also serve as an upscale social facility appropriate for special community events.
